I would like to / I need to change kernel 2.4.18-bf-2.4 to 2.4.27 or 2.4.29. NOT compile, just change / install with apt-get precompiled kernel); i am runing Sid on my laptop and i have never done this before so i need some help ... The other kernel on my system is 2.6.8-1-686;could you, please direct me to man, HOWTO, info ... or books tha describe this in detail? I did some Googling and reading (man and internet) but still not convinced that I know HOW.
