I'm glad you had a positive experience, they are notorious for having 
bad support.

I had a sheer and utter nightmare with HP trying to buy an extended 
warranty.  Got forwarded to India.  They just told me blatant lies, and 
quoted me wrong prices with inferior features -- and told me I wasn't 
eligible for anything else.  Called the Web store -- and they said "of 
course you're eligible."

One of the Indian bastards claimed to put me on hold and I could hear 
him breathing and clacking.  He was just ignoring me.  HP must have 
bought the most horrendous outsourcing possible.

I finally had to escalate it to HP's "crisis level" organizational 
support by calling their switchboard and explaining how awful it was.

Shudder.
