Re: Centrino CpuFreq (< 600 mhz)

Hi,

This is my kernel configuration (i'm using version 2.6.10-rc3 of the
kernel) :
CONFIG_CPU_FREQ=y
# CONFIG_CPU_FREQ_DEBUG is not set
# CONFIG_CPU_FREQ_PROC_INTF is not set
CONFIG_CPU_FREQ_DEFAULT_GOV_PERFORMANCE=y
# CONFIG_CPU_FREQ_DEFAULT_GOV_USERSPACE is not set
CONFIG_CPU_FREQ_GOV_PERFORMANCE=y
CONFIG_CPU_FREQ_GOV_POWERSAVE=y
CONFIG_CPU_FREQ_GOV_USERSPACE=y
# CONFIG_CPU_FREQ_24_API is not set
# CONFIG_CPU_FREQ_GOV_ONDEMAND is not set
CONFIG_CPU_FREQ_TABLE=y

CONFIG_X86_ACPI_CPUFREQ=m
# CONFIG_X86_CPUFREQ_NFORCE2 is not set
# CONFIG_X86_ACPI_CPUFREQ_PROC_INTF is not set

I have tried to modify speedstep-centrino.c with these values (in
addition of values given in previous mail, i found these values in Intel
documentation, how i could determine frequency to put ?) for my P-M
1300Mhz Banias :

        OP( 100,  700),
        OP( 200,  828),

It doesn't work at all (/proc/cpuinfo display 600Mhz as CPU frequency) :

Losing some ticks... checking if CPU frequency changed.
Warning: CPU frequency out of sync: cpufreq and timing core thinks of
200000, is 600000 kHz.
Warning: CPU frequency is 200000, cpufreq assumed 600000 kHz.

Thanks for your answer.
