Anders,

The kernel (2.4.26) has the BELKIN module (as well as the Visor module) 
compiled in.  The actual cable number is F5U109, not the F5U103 listed in the 
text file.

The text I captured was from a "cat /dev/ttyUSB0" during a HotSync request.  I 
assume that since the "?BÂ" stuff shows up, I am actually seeing the request 
for HotSync from the Palm IIIx.  

Kpilot stops during the automatic detection and just hangs.  It is as if it 
sees the Palm IIIx and doesn't know what to do with it.
