[hardware/modules] Texas Instruments PCI1131, 3Com Cardbus and HP omnibook 5700 CTX

Hello!

My question is: what module shall I use to get on with PCMCIA
cards using Cardbus bridge Texas Instruments PCI1131 (on HP
OmniBook 5700 (CTX)? As far as I remember in 2.2.x kernels
there were i82365 loaded to use this hardware, but then
I haven't got any pcmcia stuff. Now I see that there's a
yenta_socket module loaded to manage this hardware. If I'd like
to modprobe this module I receive "No such device" and "insmod
errors can be caused by incorrect module parameters, including
invalid IO or IRQ parameters" (I of course did /etc/rc.d/rc.hotplug stop
and /etc/rc.d/rc.pcmcia stop etc. to modprobe -r yenta_socket)
and then modprobe i82365 (nothing added to /var/log/messages
/var/log/syslog or shown by dmesg). Does anybody used i82365 module
to manage PCI1131 and/or what parameters she/he has used
for PCI1131 in OB5700 (CTX)?.
I've tried to use some hints from
http://www.mastincrosbie.com/mark/linux-ob5700/ob5700.html but this
not work either (I think because of kernel versions :^/). I tried some
other www pages and discausion-forums but I didn't find nothing apropriate
(of course I did not check all of the results returned by google :P).
Is it possible to run 3CCFE575CT (network CardBus from 3Com Corp.)
on PCI1131 or other 32-bit PC-Card/PCMCIA?
What shall I do?
any parameters should by passed to the module during loading?
The slots and network carbus are ok - they work under Win98SE
(and there are also irq=10)

More 'sophisticated' question connected with PCI latency etc. - should be
there the same latency values for Cardbus bridge and cards put in it?
[i.e. TI PCI1131 latency is 168, 3Com network pcmcia card latency is 64
(I ask because I've got problems with dropping packets and very very long
times of pings)]

Linuxes :^) I use: Debian 3.0, Knoppix 3.2, Knoppix 3.4, Slackware 10.0
(kernels (all from standard distros no changes made), for Knoppix 3.2 kernel
2.4.20-xfs,
knoppix 3.4 kernel 2.4.20 and also kernel 2.6.6, Slackware 10.0 kernel
2.4.26,
debian 2.4.20) (with ide=nodma parameter at lilo).
