Acer TravelMate 620 finally working to my content

Hi,
if anyone needs help, I got Debian on an Acer TravelMate 620 laptop working.

Graphics: Intel I830M
Sound: Intel 82801 CA-ICH3 (DUPLEX)
DVD/CDRW: MATSHITA UJDA720
USB bus
Prolific PL2303 USB-toSerial converter cable (used with Siemens C55 cell phone
to connect to Internet via GPRS)

Software:
Linux 2.4.26 kernel
Debian sid
XFree86 4.3.0.1
KDE 3.2.2
OpenOffice 1.1.1

What is still missing:
- internal winmodem (AFAIK it should be possible to get that working, I just
haven't got time to do it so far)
- use the laptop's hardware 3D graphics support (I like fgfs :-)
- make use of the built-in card reader (I don't use it...)
