PCMCIA WLAN Card not active after boot

Hi,

  I am running unstable, kernel 2.4.20, on a Q10 with a built in orinoco
mini-pci wlan card. I have also seen the below mentioned behavior  on a Sony
GLX316 with a Sony WLAN card (also orinoco/lucent chip).

  When booting the wlan card is not recognized and so dhcpclient doesn't get
any address during boot. A cardctl eject; cardctl insert does "solve" the
problem.

  I assume there are better ways to do that ;-) What do I need to do?
