kernel 2.4.20: ds no socket drivers loaded
Moin,
instead to compile a own kernel I thought to use the kernel image from debian
this time.
The system is starting up, but the pcmcia support fails. I find in the syslog
file this entries:
---------cut--------------
Jan 29 12:23:01 lyra kernel: Linux Kernel Card Services 3.1.22
Jan 29 12:23:01 lyra kernel: options: [pci] [cardbus] [pm]
Jan 29 12:23:01 lyra kernel: ds: no socket drivers loaded!
Jan 29 12:23:01 lyra kernel: unloading Kernel Card Services
---------cut--------------
The kernel packages are:
renner@lyra:~$ dpkg --list *2.4.20* | grep ii
ii kernel-build-2 2.4.20-5 Headers for building modules for Linux 2.4.2
ii kernel-doc-2.4 2.4.20-5 Linux kernel specific documentation for vers
ii kernel-headers 2.4.20-5 Header files related to Linux kernel version
ii kernel-image-2 2.4.20-5 Linux kernel image 2.4.20 on PPro/Celeron/PI
ii kernel-pcmcia- 2.4.20-5 Mainstream PCMCIA modules 2.4.20 on PPro/Cel
Thanks for hints
