Hi there!

I have a Radeon 9000 Mobility and use XFree 4.3: everything runs smoothly.
BUT!: I have compiled my own kernel (2.4.21) with the "Laptop"
patch-collection found here:
http://savannah.nongnu.org/projects/laptopkernel/

This colelction also provides patches for radeonfb, drm, apgart, swsusp,
acpi...... Everything you need for a modern laptop.

(BTW: swsusp never really worked for me)

Best regards, Stefan
