Re: system fan on Dell Inspiron 8000 after suspend
Hi,
> Does anyone have A chart of what each(all) key(s) do(es)?
a few more functions (that are not printed on the keyboard):
Fn+D turn off display including backlight
Fn+A suspend to disk (if s2d partition available)
Fn+Z reread thermal sensors
Fn+# toggle system speed
The last one was reported with differing effects on battery lifetime, for some
it works, for some folks things are just slower with no time gain when on
batteries.
If anyone has additions, I'd be interested. ;)
Regards,
Frank
