My card (prism2.5 mini_pci in a TP A30) has the same problem. It happens
when I tranfer much data.

As I do not have problems using an other prism2 card (from SMC), I
suspect this is a firmware problem. I posted the same question to the
linux-wlan list but got no reply :-|

What does the driver say about the firmware?
| kernel: eth1: Looks like an Intersil firmware version 1.03
