I'm running stable & thinkpad-source 3.5-1. There's no such kernel
version restriction AFAICT.

When I try the svga (actually, vga) driver under XF86v4, I get a
letterboxed display, ~320x240 or so (haven't verified that, but it's
_small_), which is not useable. Console & 'screen' are giving me more
mileage, but there are some apps which simply aren't available.
Hopefully this is a temporary condition, so a fix isn't absolutely
required, but could be quite nice.

Peace.
