I'm using a recent XFree (4.2.0-0pre1v4)
deb http://people.debian.org/~branden/ sid/$(ARCH)/
and all I had to do was exchange the file
/usr/X11R6/lib/modules/drivers/i810_drv.o
for Jon Gans' patched version (available for download somewhere
on http://www.jongans.com), include agpgart support in my 2.4.19
kernel and use the "i830-16bit.C" program by Jon Gans.
