I have a Portege4010 with a Cyberblade XP card and I use this device 
section:

Section "Device"
        Identifier  "TOS Trident Card"
        Driver      "trident"
        VendorName  "Trident"
        BoardName   "CyberBlade/XP/DSTN/Ai1"
        BusID       "PCI:1:0:0"
        Option      "ShadowFB" "On"
EndSection

You need Xfree86-4.2 to get it to work!!!
