This problem has been described a tousand times allready on this list, as has 
been the solution: Configure your kernel without "Enable APIC for 
uni-processor systems" (or something simular, I did not look the exact option 
up right now). Yes, it's APIC, not ACPI. Yes, it works great on my I8100.
