schizo pcmcia

debs,

my pcmcia ethernet card works, but not the pcmcia modem. (they're
two different cards.) as they're both pcmcia cards, and the kernel,
recognizes the ethernet card, shouldn't the modem be recognized by
the kernel, as well? (btw, both cards work in other boxes.)

i've attached the relevant parts of dmesg.

kernel: 2.4.18

debian: sid

box: gen2 (from http://www.qlilinux.com ). p4; 2ghz; 1gb ram...

suggestions?

thx

b.
