To make it permanet you have to edit your /etc/fstab file
and add a line like:

/dev/hda1  /dos  vfat  umask=003,uid=0,gid=101,user 0 0

man mount and man fstab gives you all options.

Of course you need support in the kernel for windows partitions:

CONFIG_FAT_FS=y
CONFIG_MSDOS_FS=y
CONFIG_VFAT_FS=y
