Ok, xdm was allready installed and up.to.date.

In /etc/X11/XF86Config-4, the 1st section is FONTS:

Section "Files"
># FontPath       "unix/:7100"         # local font server
# if the local font server has problems,
#  we can fall back on these
FontPath        "/usr/lib/X11/fonts/misc"
FontPath        "/usr/lib/X11/fonts/cyrillic"
...
----------------------------

I did #comment the 1st line: local font server
and now evrything is just fine :) 

So.. the X4 font server has problems ?
