Re: can't boot on Toshiba Satellite 2180 CDT



Hey fellas, had a similar problem.

If your HDD is ATA66 drive, Kernel2.2.12 and below does not support it.

Download a newer kernel and make a boot floppy to install the base system.

Also check the BIOS knows your HDD cause Linux in general does not
automatically recognise large HDD all the time.
