problems with slink and d-link DE-660

Hi,

I'm struggling with slink and the d-link DE-660 network-adapter.
The d-link DE-660 is a 16-bit card (according to cardctl status)

I installed slink from Cd. And installed the debian kernel 2.0.36 and
the pcmcia-modules for 2.0.36 and pcmcia-cs. Everything worked fine.
The I got the source from kernel 2.2.13 and the pcmcia-cs-3.1.7 from
pcmcia.sourceforge.org, build the kernel and the utils and now the card
is still identitified and works, but the packet loss is greater than
50 percent and if transfer something bigger than a few bytes across the
network-card following error-message comes up:

|eth0: mismatched read page pointers 4c vs c8

Anyone got any ideas? What modules should the cardmgr load for the
d-link card?
greetings,
-fk
