I have 505TS and Debian woody installed - it works fine!

You need "Configure PCMCIA Support"
JRB> Are there any other issues I need to be aware of?
I had some problems with sound card - now it works - but I am not sure - it is right :)
My machine has ESS1879 chip sound card. If I install only ALSA-Drivers - it doesn't work can not find card.
If I install only OSS Drivers - the card correctly initalized - but don't work :(
But is I install OSS drivers, then run ALSA deamon - it can not find card (say resource is busy) but then sound works fine throuhg OSS drivers. Strange, but it works and I stoped my experiments on it.

Also, I had small problem with modem - when it was on COM2 (/dev/ttyS1) - it doesn't work - it doesn't answer anything on AT commands.
But then I set it on COM1 (/dev/ttyS0) - it works fine.

I haven't done any experiments with infrared port - but as I know, it should work.
