I cannot be of help myself, since I have a much older Toshiba... but I am
writing you to suggest
1) checking the Toshiba website (http://www.tce.co.jp/linux): They do not
support Linux yet, but give some installation info and technical details
for some models.
2) subscribing to the Toshiba-LinuxUsers mailing list (details on the same
web page). There are lots of Toshiba experts out there ready to help.
