Consistency would improve but it wouldn't make it more correct.
"taggar" is mostly tech slang.

Change it to your proposal there.
We'll take the argument for another day and if I win we'll change all
the occurrences to "etiketter" (more precise translation for "labels",
could be a reason to have separate wordings for both tags and labels).
