[-I inode_buffer_blocks] [-P process_inode_size]
[-l|-L bad_blocks_file] [-C fd] [-j external_journal]
[-E extended-options] device
-v Be verbose
-b superblock Use alternative superblock
-B blocksize Force blocksize when looking for superblock
-j external_journal Set location of the external journal
-l bad_blocks_file Add to badblocks list
-L bad_blocks_file Set badblocks list
Y esta es buena:
Modo de empleo: tar [OPCIÓN...] [FICHERO]...
GNU `tar' saves many files together into a single tape or disk archive, and can
restore individual files from the archive.
Examples:
tar -cf archive.tar foo bar # Create archive.tar from files foo and bar.
tar -tvf archive.tar # List all files in archive.tar verbosely.
tar -xf archive.tar # Extract all files from archive.tar.
--test-label test the archive volume label and exit
-g, --listed-incremental=FICHERO
maneja el nuevo formato GNU de respaldo
incremental
ficheros ilegibles
-n, --seek archive is seekable
--occurrence[=NÚMERO] process only the NUMBERth occurrence of each file
in the archive; this option is valid only in
conjunction with one of the subcommands --delete,
--diff, --extract or --list and when a list of
files is given either on the command line or via
the -T option; NUMBER defaults to 1
--sparse-version=MAJOR[.MINOR]
set version of the sparse format to use (implies
--sparse)
-S, --sparse maneja ficheros dispersos de forma eficiente
Overwrite control:
--overwrite-dir overwrite metadata of existing directories when
extracting (default)
Select output stream:
--ignore-command-error ignore exit codes of children
--no-ignore-command-error treat non-zero exit codes of children as
error
--to-command=ORDEN pipe extracted files to another program
Manejo de los atributos del fichero:
--atime-preserve[=METHOD] preserve access times on dumped files, either
by restoring the times after reading
(METHOD='replace'; default) or by not setting the
times in the first place (METHOD='system')

permissions of extracted directories until the end
of extraction

--mtime=FECHA-O-FICHERO set mtime for added files from DATE-OR-FILE
--no-delay-directory-restore

option

--no-same-permissions apply the user's umask when extracting permissions
from the archive (default for ordinary users)
-p, --preserve-permissions, --same-permissions
extract information about file permissions
(default for superuser)
Device selection and switching:
--force-local archive file is local even if it has a colon
-F, --info-script=NOMBRE, --new-volume-script=NOMBRE
fichero)
--record-size=NÚMERO NUMBER of bytes per record, multiple of 512
Selección del formato de archivo:
-H, --format=FORMATO create archive of the given format
FORMATO es uno de los siguientes:
gnu formato GNU tar 1.13.x

lo mismo que --format=v7
--pax-option=keyword[[:]=value][,keyword[[:]=value]]...

Comunicar bichos a <bug-tar@gnu.org>.
Saludos.
