¿alguien me puede dar su posible traducción?

El contexto es: "The datadir is now /var/lib/blosxom/data (formerly
/var/www/blosxom) and the plugin_dir is now /etc/blosxom/plugins
(formerly /var/lib/blosxom).  Please move your data appropriately. 
The previous installed plugins and flavours are saved to the
/root/blosxom.XXXXXX directory to avoid data loss again, where XXXXXX
is some random sequence to avoid clashes with maybe similar names
there."


Otra duda es si la palabra plugin se traduce como plugin o como
añadido, o como otra cosa.
