Hi!

I prepared russian translation of Aptitude User's Manual (because I
love aptitude!) several months ago. Currently it is a translation of
0.6.9.1 version. It can be found at github:
https://github.com/dogsleg/aptitude-doc-ru.

I sent a message about it to debian-l10-russian, here:
https://lists.debian.org/debian-l10n-russian/2012/10/msg00001.html.
Unfortunately, only Sergey Alyoshin helped a little with editing. So,
my tranlsation still lacks proofreading, but I hope that if it will be
widely available, it will be corrected with help of readers. So, I'd
like it to be added to other online translations and (maybe) to Debian
repository. Could you guide me through that path?

I think, we should try to get Lev's Russian translation in for at
least 0.6.10.

While I personally think that we could do that even if it hasn't
proof-read completely from a linguistic point of view, I'm not sure,
what's the common workflow for the i18n teams here.

I also don't know if technical proof-reading is considered necessary,
too, or if the i18n team doesn't make any difference between
linguistic and technical proof-reading.

for a ping about the proof-reading of Lev's translation in general. :-)

Daniel: Do you know by mind or can you easily list what of the User
Manual has changed between 0.6.8.x/0.6.10 and 0.6.9.x (as 0.6.9 is
considered a dead branch) so that Lev has a chance to update those
parts to the current branch?

If not, I'd guess using git diff or xmldiff over the source of the
English User Manual from 0.6.8.2 (or HEAD) and the 0.6.9.x branch
should do the trick.
