man reportbug..:-)

Or look at http://bugs.debian.org

Or ask on debian-l10n-portuguese....

Translators really need to learn how to report bugs. This is the basis
of our work and sending translation updates by private mail is
something that just doesn't scale very well (not to mention the risk
of lost mails).

Don't take me wrong: I'm still very happy to see motivated people to
work on translations, so please take these advices as a help to
improve your contributions....

Another concern I have with updates like yours is the check that the
actual translation team (in the case of pt_BR, the
debian-l10n-portuguese mailing list) is aware of the update....as well
as the former translator, in your case Eder L. Marques...

The diff with the current version of the translation in SVN is way too
big for me to accept it blindly. There are changes that are unrelated
to the string for which an update was needed::

The original was masculine (if my very basic understanding of

line with "Mapa de teclado". Still the "mapa" is not "francesa" but
more swiss....not sure which is the better, but Swiss people that do
speak French are first Swiss, *then* French speakers....I'd suggest
trying to keep this in your translation..:-)

In short: if all changes were discusses inside the portuguese ML, I'm
fine with them. Otherwise, please discuss them with ML folks...
