It seems the conversion dropped most Polish national characters like:

replacing them with plain ASCII versions possibly followed by an apostrophe:
 a,e,l,z,'s,'c,'z
which makes the translators work harder.

Could you please regenerate the file in such a way that ISO-8859-2 
characters are kept untouched or eventually translated to UTF-8?

Some examples:

should be: 
  msgstr "SKŁADNIA"
and
> "Debiana i moze pomóc wybra´c jeden z nich. Moze nawet uzy´c programu B<apt-"
should be:
  "Debiana i może pomóc wybrać jeden z nich. Może nawet użyć programu B<apt-"
