Direi di specificare che si tratta del *lettore* CDROM e non di un 
semplice CDROM: "Non è stato rilevato alcun lettore CDROM noto. [...]".

E ricordati di togliere lo spazio dopo l'apostrofo.

L'inglese è ricco di cotruzioni fatte con periodi molto brevi, mentre in 
italiano viene considerato cattivo stile:

è stato ancora inserito nel lettore; in tal caso, si inserisca il CD e 
non si effettui la configurazione manuale, in modo tale che venga 
tentato nuovamente il mount del CD. Se il CD era già nel lettore si 
tratta di un altro problema: si tenti quindi con la configurazione 
manuale del CD."

bass («») in modo da non generare confusione, anche se in realtà è solo 
questione di gusto.
