Traduzione di security/faq.wml

Salve.
Sto aggiornando la traduzione di security/faq.wml.
Sono bloccato da alcuni dubbi:


  This means that moving to a new upstream version is not a good solution,
  instead the relevant changes should be backported.  Generally upstream
  maintainers are willing to help if needed, if not the Debian security team
  might be able to help.

  Questo significa che migrare verso una nuova versione non è una buona
  soluzione, visti i rilevanti cambiamenti che potrebbero essere stati
  apportati. Di solito,se necessario, viene richiesto l'aiuto dei
  manutentori della versione originale, se il team sicurezza Debian non è in
  grado di aiutare.

"upstream version". Sulla ML tp si suggeriva di tradurlo come "versione a
	monte"; qui però mi sembrano più chiari i termini "nuova" ed
	"originale"
"are willing to help [...] able to help". Non sono sicuro di non aver
	stravolto il senso della frase (potrebbe essere "viene richiesto
	l'aiuto [...], altrimenti team sicurezza Debian è in grado di
	aiutare" ???)

  If you are not used to security uploads and are not 100% sure that
  your package is sane, please use this way and don't upload to the
  incoming directory.  The security team only has limited options to
  deal with broken packages, especially if they don't use a sane
  version number.  Packages currently cannot be rejected and the
  buildd would be confused if it would be possible.

  Se non sono usati i security uploads e non si è sicuri al 100% che il
  pacchetto funzioni correttamente, usate questo metodo e non inviate alla
  directory incoming. Il team sicurezza ha poche possibilità di lavorare con
  pacchetti danneggiati, specialmente se non hanno un numero di versione
  corretto. Attualmente i pacchetti non possono essere rifiutati e the
  buildd would be confused if it would be possible.

"security uploads" = ???
"package is sane" = il pacchetto funzioni correttamente ???
"sane version number" = numero di versione corretto ???
"buildd" = ???
"would be confused if it would be possible" = ??? (forse "potrebbe essere
	confuso se ciò fosse possibile" ??????)

  If you are very sure that [...],
  that you can confirm the patch against the most recent version is clean
  and only touches the corresponding security problem [...],
  that you have proofread the patch at least thrice, and that [...]

  Se si è veramente sicuri che [...],
  che sia possibile applicare la patch alla versione più recente is clean e
  che essa riguardi solo il relativo problema di sicurezza [...],
  che la patch sia stata controllata almeno tre volte e che [...]

"can confirm the patch against" = sia possibile applicare la patch ??
"most recent version is clean" = versione più recente ?????
"proofread" = controllata ?
