Meinst Du wirklich, dass diese Ergänzung nötig ist? Heraus kommt ein
Wortungetüm. Zugegebenenrmaßen unterstelle ich, dass alle
Konfigurationsdateien in diesem Paket

Zwischen "Ich bin unsicher" und "Ich bin mir unsicher" finde ich
keinen substanziellen Unterschied. Hast Du ein Argument, dass das
größere Länge und grammatikalische Verkomplexizierung aufwiegen
könnte?

zwar denke ich, dass es letztlich um gemeinsam benutzte
Konfigurationsdateien geht und dies das Wesentliche ist, aber näher an

Ich dachte, "preseed files" wäre zu speziell und daher eine Suche in der
Wortliste nicht aussichtsreich.
Ich fand "preseed" auch jetzt nicht in der Liste... ... ... Oha!
"pre-seed" gibt es.
Mit meiner Verlegenheitsübersetzung "Container-preseed-Dateien" bleibt
auch offen, ob die "Standardwerte" in der Datei stehen oder ob die
Datei mit diesen Werten selbst einen "Container" darstellt. Im
Englischen kann man es sich da recht leicht machen.
Ich übernehme Deinen Vorschlag, wenn Du sagst, Dein Konstrukt trifft
die Sache.

Nochmal zum Hinweis der Anhang-Art:
Wenn ich das richtig sehe, führt beim Versenden der po-Datei von
libvirt das Einstellen von text/utf-8 in Mutt dazu, dass Umlaute durch
unrichtige Codes ersetzt werden, diese Einstellung also demnach
kontraproduktiv ist. Zwar wäre es fein, wenn das Mailprogramm die Art
des Anhang richtig deklariert, verändern soll es die angehängte Datei
jedoch nicht. Gibt es hier jemanden, der auch Mutt verwendet und es
bis in solche Details beherrscht?
