Kann man, der Duden empfiehlt aber die alte Version.

Ja, hatten wir, steht sogar in der Wortliste (in die ich aber zugegebnermaßen
nie schaue, weil sie meine Fragen bisher nur selten beantwortet).
Wobei ich mich frage, was da eigentlich groß geändert wurde (abseits vom
Namen), selbst die »Eastereggs« (about:mozilla, about:robots) sind noch drin.

without any forced downtime, but it is strongly recommended to read

for possible issues, and for detailed instructions on installing and
upgrading. The release notes will be further improved and translated
