Irgendwie habe ich den Eindruck, dass da im Original eine Leerzeile
fehlt, aber egal.
Das Orginal des ersten Satzes hat etwas von einer Definition, die
Übersetzung nicht mehr.
Bei der Übersetzung des zweiten Satzes frage ich mich, wo das "in dieser
Reihenfolge" herkommt. Ich würde das eher als
"Um sicher zu gehen, dass B<setsid>() Erfolg haben wird, rufe man
B<fork>(2) und B<_exit>(2) auf und erst im Kindprozess B<setsid>()."
übersetzen.

Vermutlich bin ich etwas spät mit einer Kritik dieses Satzes, aber
"Informationen über das Berichten von Fehlern" ist einfach grausam.
Wie wäre es mit "Informationen wie man Fehler meldet"?
