Ich haette das anders geschrieben: "Die Compose-Taste (...) bewirkt,
dass der Computer die naechsten Tastenanschlaege als Kombination
interpretiert, um ein Zeichen zu produzieren, welches ..."

Ist natuerlich Geschmackssache.

Den zweiten Satz wuerde ich auch umstellen: "... arbeiten, koennen Sie
unabhaengig von Ihrer Auswahl hier immer auch die Kombination
... verwenden."
