Whenever I searched for nested quotes, there was the rule (in english, french, german, ..) to use the *same* style of quotes, but in the single variant, i.e. " -> ' » -> > and the same for the closing version. Do you have any evidence, that some publication, person, organization mixes the quoting styles instead of using this common rule?
