Translations of Pacman in manpages-l10n
Hello,
some time ago I imported old French translations of the Pacman tools
(the package management system from Archlinux) and added them to
manpages-l10n. Although 11 years old, some of them even reach the 80%
threshold for Po4a. However, most of the files are too incomplete, and
I'm not able to maintain them because I don't speak French.
Assuming that Debian translators don't want to bother with
Archlinux-only stuff, I asked for help in the French Archlinux forum
[1] and got an answer. Someone is willing to help with completing the
files. But usually translations go through a review process here
(ITT/RFR/LCFC etc.). Unless someone of you is really willing to review
the Pacman manpages, would it be OK for you to skip this process for
Non-Debian translations? Then I would commit the .po files for Jean,
or he gets his own Git access and commits his files, where he is not
allowed to touch other files which don't belong to Pacman (unless he
provides them for review). What do you think?
