sept de ses membres se sont réunis à Barcelone tout le week-end du 22 au 24 mai
pour donner le coup d'envoi au développement de Perl pour Stretch et pour
travailler sur les tâches d'assurance qualité sur les plus de 3000 paquets que

Sur son blog, Osamu Aoki <a href="http://goofying-with-debian.blogspot.ru/";>a annoncé</a>
quelques mises à jour de la documentation de Debian. Après avoir créé le script

production de paquets source Debian, pour prendre en compte les bonnes
pratiques les plus récentes d'empaquetage, il a réécrit de A à Z le Guide du
responsable Debian, disponible dans le paquet

Parallèlement, le <a href="https://debian-handbook.info/";>Debian
Handbook</a> est maintenant aussi disponible sur le

est construite automatiquement à partir du

<p>
Pour Wheezy, le projet Debian était passé de <a href="https://ffmpeg.org/";>FFmpeg</a>
à <a href="https://libav.org/";>Libav</a>, comme fournisseur de bibliothèques
multimédia, qui est encore utilisé avec Jessie. L'équipe multimédia de Debian
<a href="https://lists.debian.org/debian-devel-announce/2015/07/msg00001.html";>a annoncé</a>
qu'après un <a href="https://wiki.debian.org/Debate/libav-provider/ffmpeg";>examen
soigneux/a>, elle avait décidé de revenir à FFmpeg, et qu'elle ferait de son
mieux pour achever la transition pour Debian Stretch, la prochaine version
stable.

à deux développeurs Debian, Holger Levsen et Jérémy Bobbio, à hauteur de
200 000 dollars pour faire progresser leur travail pour Debian sur les 
<a href="https://wiki.debian.org/ReproducibleBuilds";>compilations reproductibles</a>
et pour qu'ils collaborent plus étroitement avec d'autres distributions telles
que Fedora, Ubuntu et OpenWrt afin qu'elles bénéficient de cette démarche.

sur la migration vers GCC5 et libstdc++6 programmée pour la fin du mois.
Des rapports de bogues ont été remplis pour les paquets

la construction à partir du paquet source échoue</a>
avec la nouvelle version de GCC, et ceux pour lesquels une
<a href="http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/pkgreport.cgi?tag=libstdc%2B%2B-cxx11;users=debian-gcc@lists.debian.org";>vérification
est nécessaire</a>, pour voir si le passage à la nouvelle libstdc++ les affecte.

Raj Sarraf</a> travaille sur l'intégration d'Apport à Debian. Yuru a envoyé un

des nouvelles fonctionnalités qu'il a mises en Å?uvre : instance unique du
démon de notification apport-notifyd, installation des symboles de débogage,

<p>Il a aussi <a
href="https://nthykier.wordpress.com/2015/06/22/introducing-dak-auto-decruft/";>présenté
dans son blog</a> un nouvel outil, qu'il a créé avec l'équipe des FTP masters,
pour dak, le Debian Archive Kit. Le but de l'<q>auto-decrufter</q> est
d'identifier les types courants de <q>cruft</q> (tels que des paquets binaires
qui ne sont plus construit à partir d'un paquet source quelconque)et les
retirer automatiquement d'unstable quand ils n'ont plus de paquets Depends ou
Build-Depends les visant. Jusqu'à récemment, ces retraits étaient complétement
effectués manuellement par les FTP masters.</p>

<p><q>Pirate</q> Praveen Arimbrathodiyil a mené à bien sa campagne de
financement participatif pour pouvoir travailler un mois complet à
l'empaquetage pour Debian packaging du réseau social
<a href="https://diasporafoundation.org/";>Diaspora</a>.
Il <a href="https://lists.debian.org/debian-devel/2015/07/msg00277.html";>a envoyé</a>
un compte-rendu expliquant les différentes tâches qu'il a menées à bien, dont
l'empaquetage de 23 dépendances et la mise à jour de 34 paquets existants.

The Debian Perl team had its first

in May and it was a success:
seven members met in Barcelona over the weekend from May 22 to
May 24 to kick off Perl development for Stretch and
to work on QA tasks across the more than 3000 packages that the

On his blog, Osamu Aoki <a href="http://goofying-with-debian.blogspot.ru/";>announced</a>
some updates to Debian documentation. Having created the
<a href="https://packages.debian.org/sid/debmake";>debmake</a> helper script to
produce Debian source packages, to take into account new packaging best practices,
he has rewritten the Debian Maintainers' Guide from scratch, available in the
<a href="https://packages.org/sid/debmake-doc";>debmake-doc</a> package.
Meanwhile, the <a href="https://debian-handbook.info/";>Debian
Handbook</a> is now also available from the
<a href="$HOME/doc/manuals/debian-handbook/">Debian website</a>. This version
is built automatically from the
<a href="https://packages.debian.org/sid/debian-handbook";>corresponding
package</a> in Debian unstable. This is also the case for the documentation from
<a href="$HOME/doc/manuals/debmake-doc/index.en.html">debmake-doc</a> and more

<p>
For the Wheezy release, the Debian project moved from having <a
href="https://ffmpeg.org/";>FFmpeg</a> as the provider of multimedia libraries
to <a href="https://libav.org/";>Libav</a>, which is also in use in the Jessie release.
The Debian Multimedia team
<a href="https://lists.debian.org/debian-devel-announce/2015/07/msg00001.html";>announced</a>
that after a <a href="https://wiki.debian.org/Debate/libav-provider/ffmpeg";>careful
review</a>, they have decided to switch back to FFmpeg, and will do their best
to finish the transition for the next stable release, Debian Stretch.

<p>
The
<a href="https://www.coreinfrastructure.org/";>Linux
Fundation's Core Infrastructure Initiative</a>
<a href="http://www.linuxfoundation.org/news-media/announcements/2015/06/linux-foundation-s-core-infrastructure-initiative-funds-three-new";>announced</a>
that
<a href="https://bits.debian.org/2015/06/reproducible-builds-funded-by-cii.html";>they will support</a>
two Debian Developers, Holger Levsen and
Jérémy Bobbio, with $200,000 to advance their Debian work on
<a href="https://wiki.debian.org/ReproducibleBuilds";>reproducible builds</a>
and to collaborate more closely with other distributions such as
Fedora, Ubuntu, and OpenWrt to benefit from this effort.
</p>

about the transition to GCC5 and libstdc++6, scheduled for the end of the month.
Bugs were filed for packages

to build from source</a>
with the new GCC version, and for those where
<a href="http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/pkgreport.cgi?tag=libstdc%2B%2B-cxx11;users=debian-gcc@lists.debian.org";>investigation
is needed</a>, to see if the transition to the new libstdc++ affects them.

Yuru Roy Shao, mentored by <a href="http://www.researchut.com/blog/gsoc-apport-for-debian";>Ritesh
Raj Sarraf</a> is working on Apport integration in Debian. Yuru posted
a <a href="http://blog.yurushao.info/2015/07/Debian-Apport-GSoC/";>report</a> on
the new features he implemented: uniqueness of the apport-notifyd notification
daemon instance, installation of debug symbols, use of the system APT cache to
avoid downloading packages twice, and Debian BTS integration.

Orestis Ioannou also sent an

on the work he did on a new web application, the copyright tracker, as part of
the Debsources project.

href="https://nthykier.wordpress.com/2015/06/22/introducing-dak-auto-decruft/";>introduced
in his blog</a> a new tool he created with the FTP masters for dak,
the Debian Archive Kit. The purpose of the <q>auto-decrufter</q> is to
identify common types of cruft (such as binary packages no longer
built from any source package), and automatically remove them from
unstable when nothing Depends or Build-Depends on them. Until recently that
removal has been 100% manual and done by the FTP masters.</p>

<p><q>Pirate</q> Praveen Arimbrathodiyil successfully managed to get a
crowd-funding campaign to work
full time for a month on the Debian packaging for the
<a href="https://diasporafoundation.org/";>Diaspora</a> social network.
He <a href="https://lists.debian.org/debian-devel/2015/07/msg00277.html";>sent</a>
a report explaining the different tasks he carried out, including packaging 23
dependencies and updating 34 existing packages.
