Ici, je lirais plutôt :
"gwhois can either be used *via inetd* or as a daemon listening on the "

puisque s'il est en standalone, c'est que c'est un démon... Quite à 
rajouter "standalone" devant daemon pour être bien clair.

Je ne connais rien au base whois, mais quand je lis ces phrases, j'ai bien 
l'impression qu'il manque un apostrophe à ARINs pour donner "ARIN's 
redirection feature".
