 Commençons avec un peu de japonais :
-  « maru » signifie « cercle »,  « marui » veut dire « rond, arrondi » ;
-  « moji » se traduit par « lettre de l'alphabet ».

 Donc « marumoji » correspond à des lettres arrondies, mais je
ne sais pas si on utilise un terme particulier en typographie.
