Re: arabic font debian

Dear All,
sudo apt-get install ttf-arabeyes ttf-kacst ttf-sil-scheherazade xfonts-intl-arabic
should install all arabic font supported by Debian
you can also install more font from internet just copy the font file into the correct directory and use this command to activate it:
sudo fc-cache -f -v
just verify if you are authorized to do this first (copyright)
Kind regards
Hatem

You can install msttcorefonts (sudo apt-get install msttcorefonts). Some of them support Arabic.
You can copy any fonts manually to the font directories, then do an fc-cache (sudo fc-cache -f). You will have more Arabic fonts in Linux than in Windows ;)
