Knoppix 8 usb key boot hangs on "verfying DMI pool data"

Hi everyone,

I posted some days ago about creating a live persistent Knoppix usb key 
with custom cheatcodes and succeeded using flash-knoppix and then 
modifying sysllinux.cfg.

Now I'm facing a new problem : boot hangs on "verifying DMI pool data" 
on an Acer Aspire Desktop computer, while it works perfectly on my 
Toshiba TECRA A10-11T notebook.

I searched the web for a solution, but couldn't find it.

Any idea how to solve this ?
