Web page creation program?

In the world of KDE3 there is an html editor named Quanta that is the
most convenient one I have found. It allows for a view of the web
page, the source code, and both simultaneously. It has many other
features of course. I like it better than Bluefish or Amaya. It only
runs under KDE 3.5, and not KDE 4.x. An upgrade of Quanta to KDE 4.x
is off in the indefinite future.

In the world of Knoppix is there a decent web page creation program
that has similar split screen functionality? Does it come with Knoppix
or must it be downloaded with apt-get? I have Knoppix on a hard drive
partition.
