system-tools-backends and aufs?

Hi,

In KNOPPIX5.3.1:
System-tools-backends , which is necessary to set up GNOME system
configuration such as network, cannot run with an active knoppix.img.
I upgraded gnome-system-tools to 2.22.0-2, but no improvement is found.

Some results:
A dmesg line when system-tools-backends cannot run:
aufs clean_plink:361:mount[8227]: failed rmdir .wh..wh.plink (-39), ignored

By unchecking box of [system] in  KNOPPIX-CONFIGURATION dialog,
system-tools-backends works well.

Any suggestions welcome.
