Please, ask remastering questions in Knoppix forum 
http://knoppix.net/forum/ (Customising & Remastering) or in VMKnoppix's 
forum (if there is any).

Knoppix's derivatives may differ much from original Knoppix and 
therefore Knoppix's developers forum is not the right place to ask this 
kind of questions. And, nobody can answer your question if you don't 
give more detailed info what those booting errors are.
