DVD-KNOPPIX4.0.2(3.2GB) with 4.7MB bootable CD-ROM and Internet block device
"HTTP-FUSE CLOOP".

CD-KNOPPIX4.0.2(700MB) or DVD-KNOPPIX4.0.2(3.2GB).

** How to install and setup HTTP-FUSE CLOOP
The following steps shows installation and setup of HTTP-FUSE
CLOOP on KNOPPIX 4.0.2.
* Required file

* Install
# dpkg -i fs-wrapper_0.4-3_i386.deb
* Loopback-setup and mount
# mkdir /mnt/knoppix402cd-tmp
# mkdir /mnt/knoppix402cd
Designate ".idx" file to setup HTTP-FUSE CLOOP.
# fs_wrapper /mnt/knoppix402cd-tmp -f http://knoppix.alpha.co.jp/http-fuse-knoppix/knxblock402/knoppix402cd.idx
On another console.
# cd /mnt/knoppix402cd-tmp
# losetup /dev/cloop3 KNOPPIX
# mount /dev/cloop3 /mnt/knoppix402cd
The root file system of CD-KNOPPIX 4.0.2 is mounted at "/mnt/knoppix402cd" read-only.
Block files are saved at "/tmp/block/". You can find download when you run
a new application.
** How to make block files
The package includes "mkmd5files" which is a tool to make block files.
"mkmd5files" makes block files from any block device.
Usage: mkmd5files <block device> <index file name> <split-block size>
Example: Making block files of KNOPPIX4.0.2 CD.
# mkmd5files /dev/cloop knoppix402.idx 262144
The block files are created in the directory "blockfile".
If you make accessible idx file and "blockfile" directory via HTTTP,
you can mount the file system with the steps mentioned above.
