Same here on satellite M40: Marvell gigabit ethernet controller is well 
known since 5.0 with sky2 module.

Well, I have to go back to this shop to make further tests: I wonder if 
they have not removed battery on few models: after some reflexion (... 
:o) I remember that I wondered why a piece of something was missing, It 
may be the battery :D

I have no pbm with shutdown on tested machines, think automatic shutdown 
after 20s is a good idea.

I've also tested 5.0.1 yesterday at work with fromhd on NTFS partition: 
nickel! hope I could have a try a PDI on NTFS tomorrow.
