It's caused by a unionfs bug that "occsionally" occurs when overwriting
existing files multiple times.
Unfortunately, this bug is still present in all versions of unionfs,
including the newest "stable" snapshot. This is currently delaying the
Knoppix 4.0.2 update. :-(
