[debian-knoppix] pgp: not a detached signature

Hi!

I first checked the .md5 file specifying its name after the .asc file and got 
an error:

gpg --verify KNOPPIX_V3.3-2004-02-09-EN.iso.md5.asc 
KNOPPIX_V3.3-2004-02-09-EN.iso.md5

gpg: not a detached signature

If the md5 file name is not specified, there is no problem:

gpg --verify KNOPPIX_V3.3-2004-02-09-EN.iso.md5.asc

gpg: Signature made Sun Feb  8 15:29:37 2004 EST using RSA key ID BA8F038D
gpg: Good signature from "Klaus Knopper <knopper@linuxtag.org>"
gpg:                 aka "Klaus Knopper <knopper@linuxtag.de>"

Is this normal behaviour?
