Bart says it is NOT a MS product.
I made one, and following the process I had to copy all the files from my Windows XP Pro cd to a directory, then had to apply the SP1 to them. I used the cd to boot multiple computers at different times and it worked on all of them.Actually, to my understanding, it copies a small version of ONE SPECIFIC Windows installation to CD-R, and this version will only run on that specific PC, otherwise it would violates the MS Eula anyways. It is more bootable rescue system for one single installation than a self-configuring system.
