I noticed something odd today -- on my IBM T23 laptop, 1024x768 does not
start automatically. Once I boot into runlevel 2, delete all modes lines
from XF86Config-4 and restart via /etc/init.d/xsession start, all is fine.
This is on my remastered 'quantian' based on 2003-05-20 with no mods to x11
or autoconfig. It worked with Knoppix 3.1. Has anybody else seen this?
